    Yard Smart is a free and informative gardening seminar designed to provide beneficial ways to use water wisely in your landscape. Topics vary by season and have included butterfly gardening, landscape watering, container gardens, perennials, trees, and much more. This semi-annual seminar is offered each Spring and Fall.

  2. Notice of 2018 Annual Meeting

    Event Starts: January 22, 2018

    The 2018 Annual Meeting of the Kingspoint Homeowners’ Association, Inc. will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2018, at Freedom Church, 2005 McPherson Road, Fort Worth, TX 76140.

    The agenda for the meeting will consist of the following items and the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the meeting:

      • Association Reports: Developer and Management
      • Board of Directors Election – There will be three (3) open positions. Anyone interested in serving should complete the Candidacy Form and return it to SBB Management Company by January 19, 2018.

    The proxy is a written instrument, signed by the member, which duly appoints the member's voting rights and attendance. The Bylaws state that in order to hold a meeting and conduct business of the HOA, there must be a quorum present. A quorum is the number of owners represented either in person or by proxy. If the quorum for this meeting is not met, an official meeting cannot be held.

    If you will be unable to attend the Annual Meeting, please complete, sign and date the annual meeting proxy and return it by one of the following options no later than January 19, 2018:

  5. Shred It On America Recycles Day

    Event Starts: November 04, 2017

    9am to 1pm

    This year the City of Fort Worth is hosting the annual Shred Day event on Saturday, Nov. 4.It’s the one day a year where all residents can have items shredded, recycled and donated all for free.

    Please share this update with the members of your neighborhood association and friends.

    The event will be held rain or shine, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at La Grave Field, 301 N.E. Sixth St.

    Residents of Fort Worth and unincorporated Tarrant County, along with members of the Better Business Bureau of Greater Tarrant County can bring up to five boxes of personal documents.(Boxes should weigh no more than 40 pounds each.)

    Other items that can be dropped off include:

      • Electronics (computers, televisions and small appliances)
      • Household items such as furniture and clothing. No mattresses or large appliances.
      • No business waste please.

  6. Adopt Love - Shelter Pet Adoption Weekend

    Every pet that comes through the doors of the Fort Worth Animal Shelter has a story — often one of being abandoned. More than 20,000 animals land at the shelter each year. Be a hero and help a homeless pet find their forever home. Adopt a shelter pet while saving the life of a dog or cat.

    Adoption fees for this weekend event are only $10. The adoption fee includes rabies vaccination, city license, micro-chip and altered (spay/neuter) services.

    The Cowboy Santas Toy Program distributes toys, games, and books to children from 0 to 12 years from low income households in Fort Worth and Tarrant County. The program alleviates the burden of parents in having to purchase gifts during the Christmas holiday. Their income can go to paying bills and buying food for their family.   10. Low-Cost Pet Clinic Nov. 7 at Silcox Center

    Event Starts: November 07, 2009

    A low-cost clinic providing pet licenses, rabies vaccinations and microchips is set for 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Chuck Silcox Animal Care and Control Center, 4900 Martin St.

    If your pet is already microchipped, the cost is $5 for a rabies shot and city license combination. If you need your pet microchipped, you can purchase the microchip, rabies shot and city tag for $17. The rabies shot and city tag combo for un-microchipped pets is $15.

    Microchips are tiny computer chips that are injected under the skin on the pet's shoulder. A unique number is assigned to each animal that will trace back to the owner. All lost pets are scanned for microchips when they arrive at the animal shelter. License tags and microchips help you find your pet if they get lost.

    City-issued pet license and rabies vaccination are required each year for all dogs, cats and ferrets living in Fort Worth.
